Equine dentistry
Equine veterinarians provide a range of services to Australia's horses, including both basic and advanced care for horses' teeth. The AVA and its special interest groups for horse vets and veterinary dentistry are concerned about the quality of health care provided to horses, including their dental care.
The AVA is actively participating in the process of developing a set of national competencies for training equine dental technicians who are not veterinarians.
