Course information:

Mental health first aid is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, or who is experiencing a mental health crisis. Following the success of our face to face series, we are trialling a blended learning model in 2018. This course is applicable to all veterinarians, veterinary students, vet nurses, and practice managers.

Part 1 - 8 hours of e-learning conducted at your own pace. This must be completed at least two weeks prior to the face to face workshop.

Part 2 - Full day workshop on Friday 18 May, following the AVA National Conference.
Venue: Plaza P8, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
Start time: 9am - Finish time: 4pm

The course is accredited by Mental Health First Aid Australia.
