You can subscribe to a number of international veterinary journals along with your AVA membership subscription at significantly reduced rates.
Books
AVA members can claim a 20% discount off the price of books published by Wiley. You need to make sure you're logged in, then click on the link below. The first time you visit, you will have to register on the Wiley site, and they you're entitled to the discount whenever you go back to visit.

The discount applies to all titles on the Wiley site except the school books published through the Jacaranda imprint. So in addition to a range of the latest veterinary titles, you can also order the 'For Dummies’ series of how-to manuals, travel and lifestyle titles, plus reference texts on computing, accounting and business management.
British Veterinary Association publications
The Veterinary Record is the BVA’s official journal and has been published weekly since 1888. It contains news, comment, letters and clinical research papers on a wide range of veterinary topics. Its classifieds section includes an extensive list of veterinary and associated jobs.
In Practice provides continuing education for practitioners. Reviews by experts in their field cover all species, but principally farm and companion animals, providing a regular update on clinical developments. Published 10 times each year, In Practice also includes articles on veterinary practice management along with a calendar of educational meetings.
Members receive a 30% discounted rate with each journal subscription. A combined subscription to both The Veterinary Record and In Practice is also available at a 30% discounted rate. Print and online or online only subscriptions available.

New Zealand Veterinary Association
New Zealand Veterinary Journal is published six times each year, and is a high quality peer-reviewed journal on all aspects of veterinary science, animal welfare and animal health.
VetScript is the monthly magazine for NZVA members. It includes association news, technical articles on a variety of clinical and surgical topics, general interest stories and classified advertising.
