Member alerts

The AVA sends email alerts to all members for especially urgent, important or time-sensitive news.

In the past, alerts have been used during natural disasters, disease outbreaks, product recalls or shortages, national advocacy campaigns or to highlight important media coverage.

Our alerts are archived here by category and date for easy reference and are available to members only.

The AVA also uses SMS messages for immediate notification of all members of an emergency or significant news. Read the Emergency SMS Alert System Policy
