Essential Veterinary Clinical Skills

Are you looking to refresh your general practice clinical skills?
This course is for vets who work with small animals looking to refresh and further enhance their general practice skills involving clinical topics seen on a daily basis, but from a different point of view!
Providing ongoing access to 21 modules of expertly curated evidence-based content and covering topics for diagnostic skill enrichment (clinical reasoning, clinical pathology, and diagnostic imaging), therapeutic skill augmentation (core principles of medicine and surgery, pharmacology and nutrition); and principles of anesthesia and emergency medicine. Completed within a cohort of like-minded professions over 22 weeks, you will combine self-paced learning with regular LIVE online sessions facilitated by subject-matter-experts. Mini-lecture videos and learning activities have been developed using proven instructional design methods to apply and consolidate your learning of the practical and applied aspects of disease diagnosis, disease treatment, and anaesthesia and emergency medicine. This means you will have ‘take home’ content to use in you practice each week. Helpful advice and feedback on your learning progress is provided at regular intervals supporting you to successfully complete this course. There are no exams –all assessment combines practical application of combined topic learnings and use a mix of realistic problem-based cases and opportunities to incorporate your own individual practice position.
