The AVA held a highly productive meeting with the the NTVB to discuss the challenges and barriers experienced by veterinary teams in the NT, especially in remote areas, to provide veterinary services to animals that meet animal welfare needs and obligations while adhering to regulations and requirements of legislation.

The 2024 NT Division Annual Meeting was held at the NT Division Conference. Thanks was expressed to outgoing NT Division President, Dr Marie Montgomery-Quin, for her 2 years of dedicated service in the role. Welcomed into the President position was Dr Amy Harding.
