Through the generosity of the inaugural winners of our Veterinary Business Awards, we are proud to announce the following scholarships:

 

Crampton Aspiring Business Leader Scholarship

An early career veterinary professional*; Veterinary nurse, Veterinary Technician, or Veterinary Business Manager with an interest in veterinary business.

* Less than 3 years since graduation

 

Lambert Aspiring Business Leader Scholarship

An early career veterinarian*, or veterinary student, with an interest in veterinary business.

* Less than 3 years since graduation

 

Requirements

Current CV

Two written references that speak to your potential as an aspiring business leader

Please provide a written response to the following: (250-500 words per question).

  • Describe an initiative that you have led in your workplace, and how this has benefited the business and the team.

  • Reflect on how your team would describe your leadership style and what your focus is for further development.

  • Outline how winning this scholarship would assist you to benefit your workplace, and the broader veterinary community.

Prize

  • Two registrations to the VBG Summit 21 to 23 October 2020 – Melbourne
  • Travel allowance for scholarship recipient
  • Hill’s Pet Nutrition continuing professional development vouchers or product vouchers valued at $1500
  • Profile in the AVA and VBG electronic communications
  • Framed certificate for display
  • Opportunity to host a VBG Hub table

 

Eligibility

Nominations will be accepted from any practice in Australia and the leaders of the business must be Veterinary Business Group members. Lambert Aspiring Business Leader Scholarship is also eligible for student members of the Veterinary Business Group.
