About the conference
The AVA Annual Conference is the largest conference and exhibition in Australia covering all fields of veterinary science and is expected to attract over 800 delegates and 100 exhibiting companies. There are eight concurrent streams and 200 scientific sessions, a stellar line-up of international and local speakers, a social program and workshops and field trips. This conference is a unique opportunity for you to converse and gain knowledge from delegates from all around Australia, meet other students and new graduates as well as gaining an insight into the profession.
Your role as a volunteer
The main role of student volunteers will be to assist in the scientific session rooms including scanning delegates name badges on entry, assisting with speaker requirements and other general assistance as required.
This is an excellent opportunity to network with other AVA Members, hear talks from some of the best speakers in Australia and abroad, gain valuable contacts and get your foot in the door.
