Equine Veterinarians Australia – Integrative imaging for the field practitioner Workshop

Buses will be provided to take delegates from GCC to Westvets on Friday and return them at the end of the Workshop.
This 1.5 day workshop includes a half day of lectures as part of the Equine Digital Imaging Masterclass session on the Thursday at Gold Coast Convention centre
This 1.5 day workshop will be aimed at recent graduates and mixed practitioners wanting to improve their diagnostic imaging skills with a focus on the distal limb. The workshop will provide delegates the theoretical and practical knowledge to achieve the best results from ultrasound machines and radiology equipment in their practice. By the end of the workshop, delegates will have the ability to know which modality best suits investigating the presumptive diagnosis and where an integrative approach will provide greater prognostication.

UQ Gatton Vet School Tour

UQ’s School of Veterinary Science is based at its Gatton campus at a purpose-built site with first-rate facilities for teaching and research.
Take a coach ride to UQ Gatton to discover the Veterinary Medical Centre, Clinical Skills Hub, Anatomy Labs and tour the Clinical Studies Centre.
Morning tea and a buffet lunch in the student dining hall will be provided.
Bus departs from Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre at 8.30am and returns at 5.00pm or at Gold Coast Airport at approx. 5.45pm A drop-off at Brisbane Airport may be available on request.
This field trip will only go ahead if a minimum numbers are reached.
