VetEd – up to 26 Veted points
VetEd points can be achieved over the whole week, and delegates can earn extra points by attending one of the post-conference workshops and field trips. AVA members must include their AVA membership number when registering for the conference for automatic awarding of points to their VetEd statement.
International delegates
International delegates who are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), British Veterinary Association (BVA), Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) or South African Veterinary Association (SAVA) can attend the AVA Annual Conference at AVA member rates.
All international delegates are required to supply their membership association and membership number at the time of registering.
All amounts listed are in Australian dollars and inclusive of 10% Australian GST.

Group discount
- Register 5 - 10 staff and receive a 5% discount
- Register 11 - 50 staff and receive a 10% discount
- Register 51 - 199 staff and receive a 15% discount
- Register over 200 staff and receive a 20% discount
To access this discount you need to comply with the following:
- All attendees need to be an AVA member and from the same team/practice
- Register all your attendees at once in a group booking
- Payment for the group booking needs to be taken in one credit card transaction

AVA members (not attending the Conference) and veterinary non-members can attend the exhibition. Access is not intended for commercial or professional purposes where we have a strict policy against canvassing.
- AVA members, students/new graduates - $65 per day. Happy Hour an additional $75
- AVA Non-members (Veterinarians) : $130.

Accompanying guest and children:
Accompanying guests and children must be accompanied by registered delegate.

Non-Vet Practice Managers and Vet Nurses
Practice Managers and Vet Nurses can join the Australian Veterinary Association as Associate Members to receive a member discount at AVA CPD conferences.
Associate members
Non-veterinarian with a close professional association with veterinarians and who have been nominated by a member, division or Group.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing to the Conference Secretariat at eventsmanager@ava.com.au by Wednesday 20 April 2022. Cancellations received prior to Wednesday 20 April 2022 will receive a full refund minus $150 administration fee. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. Substitute delegates will be accepted.

The AVA takes photos of this event, by attending you give permission to use images taken at the conference, as well as any written comments on our evaluation forms in advertising and promoting the AVA.

The parent’s room is located on the Ground Floor, Foyer B in close proximity to the exhibition and session rooms. Carers passes are available and provide access to the conference, exhibition, and sessions and allows parents/delegates nursing children to be provided with assistance.
