NSW hotspots for community transmission

Tuesday, 14 July 2020

From midday today, 77 Sydney suburbs have been declared coronavirus hotspots.

Liverpool and Campbelltown have been identified as hotspots of community transmission and anyone from these areas (or who has visited them) will not be allowed entry into QLD from midday today. Please keep an eye on your newsfeed for potential extra areas that may be declared hotspots and / or any government directives on lock downs.

Note currently there are no restrictions or lockdowns being enforced by NSW authorities, but the outbreak in this area is concerning and will be monitored closely.

The AVA recommends that veterinary clinics located within these local government areas (suburbs listed below) continue to keep strict restrictions in place. For those veterinary clinics that have recently eased restrictions, AVA recommends re-instating those restrictions, including limiting the entry of clients into clinics.
