COVID-19: Victoria - hot-spots for community transmission

Print

Tuesday, 23 June 2020

On Sunday, the Victorian Government announced that the planned easing of restrictions will not go ahead due to concerning levels of community transmission.  Of Victoria’s 79 council municipalities, six have been identified as hot-spots of community transmission.  The six council municipalities are Brimbank, Cardinia, Casey, Darebin, Hume and Moreland.

The AVA recommends that veterinary clinics located within these identified council municipalities (suburbs listed below) continue to keep strict restrictions in place.  For those veterinary clinics that have recently eased restrictions, AVA recommends re-instating those restrictions, including limiting the entry of clients into clinics.
