Dr Karen Jackson
Karen Jackson, Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pathology University of Queensland (UQ) BVSc (Hons I), MANZCVS (Internal Medicine), Dipl. ACVP (Clinical Pathology) Karen is a specialist veterinary clinical pathologist who works at UQ evaluating daily clinical pathology cases from the hospitals, as an educator to undergraduate and postgraduate veterinarians and as a researcher. She originally graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2002 and worked in a mixed animal practice in Victoria and the UK and then as an intern in Brisbane (BVSC) before moving to Pennsylvania for five years to complete a Haematology and Transfusion fellowship, veterinary clinical pathology residency then lectureship. Karen is passionate about veterinary education and diagnostic clinical pathology with specific interests in haematology, transfusion medicine and immunohaematology.
