Malocclusions: how to evaluate them and what treatment options are available - Dr Kevin Ng1 CPD Points
Malocclusions are common abnormalities seen in both general and referral dental practice. These abnormalities are easily recognisable, yet are deceptively complex to diagnose accurately and treat. If left untreated, malocclusions have the potential to create long term in pulp necrosis, attrition, periodontal disease and soft tissue trauma, potentially leading to tooth loss, oronasal fistulae and other problems.
