Learning outcome
Veterinarians applying for the Department of Agriculture Approval of ETVs will need to have commercial experience and knowledge in the field of embryo transfer in the species for which they are applying for ETV Approval. This program is not intended to train applicants in the field of embryo transfer.
The approval process is for individual veterinarians (not veterinary businesses) to be approved and for the approval to be transferable if the veterinarian changes employment.
The program will be deemed complete once the following occurs in My Learning, and within the required time frames:
Part A - within 3 months from date of registration
- ETV Approval Application Checklist - documentation and application form completed, submitted and graded as Completed by the Principal Convenor; AND
- ETV Approval Examination - pass all 4 quiz sections. You will gain access to an examination related certificate of achievement upon completion, which can be used for CPD.
THEN
Part B - within 3 months following completion of Part A and/or before the program due date
- Pre-Approval Procedures Audit - documentation and declaration form completed, submitted and approved by ETV Auditor.
Upon completion of Part A and Part B you will gain access to your Certificate of Achievement for fulfilling the requirements of the Program for the Department of Agriculture Approval of Embryo Transfer Veterinarians (Approved ETV). ETV Approval is valid for 3 years from the date of completion, and the recertification process will commence six months before certification is due to expire.
