Overview

Dr. Robert Menzies has recently returned to Australia and established ANIDOS - Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery - a traveling specialist service based from Camperdown in southwest Victoria. He graduated from the University of Queensland veterinary school in 2000. Prior to becoming a specialist, he worked in equine, mixed and small animal practices in Australia, UK, USA and China. Since becoming a veterinary dentist he has primarily worked in academia in Europe (the University of Helsinki's veterinary school in Finland, and the University of Veterinary Medicine - Vienna in Austria) with cats, dogs and horses. He also worked in private practice in Norway, and most recently with Dr David Clarke at Dental Care for Pets in Hallam, Victoria, Australia. Robert completed a residency training programme in dentistry and oral surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, from 2009-2012. During this time he became a board-certified dentist - Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC). Latterly he also became a Diplomate of the European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC). He is a registered specialist in veterinary dentistry in Victoria, Australia. Robert is married with twins. His wife, Paula Larenza Menzies, is a native of Argentina, a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (EVCAA), and former university professor.
