A keen interest in business led to completing an MBA at Waikato University whilst working as an equine veterinarian. Establishing IMS Vet in 2014 to undertake the clinical research on Arthramid Vet.
Dr Stuart Vallance
Stuart is a registered specialist in Equine Surgery, and during his 15 years of professional development and working in the equine industry he has developed extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of horses. Stuart grew up with horses on his family’s sheep and cattle farm near Ballarat, Victoria. He studied veterinary science at the University of Melbourne and graduated with first class honors. He then moved to Sydney to undertake an internship at Randwick Equine Centre. Following this, Stuart moved to the northern hemisphere, and worked as an ambulatory race and sport horse veterinarian in Surrey, United Kingdom.
Dr Marc Koene
Marc Koene was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and went to vet school in Hannover Germany. After finishing vet school in 1989 he did internships and residencies in the USA at Hagyard, Simpsonville, Lexington, Kentucky, New Bolton Center and Colorado State University. In 1991 he started Equine Clinic Mühlen that later transformed into Luesche Equine Veterinary clinic in Germany. This is one of the largest equine clinics in Europe with over 100 employees and other sites in Hamburg, Shanghai, Moscow and Samorin. Marc is acknowledged German equine practitioner (Fachtierarzt für Pferde), holds the IAVC/IVCA chiropractic certificate, is FEI veterinary delegate and FEI permitted treating veterinarian. Furthermore, he is board member of the FEI Equine Prohibited Substance List Group. Already 10 years Marc is team veterinarian for the German Olympic Equine driving team and since 3 years for the German Dressage team. He served these teams at several Olympic games, World Equestrian Games and German- and European championships. In Luesche Equine Veterinary Clinic Marc works on lame horses, surgery, ophthalmology, sport horse support, pre-purchase examinations and is active in research and application of new technologies like 3D printing, feed supplements and laser treatment. His curiosity resulted in 55 publications in 25 years of equine veterinary practice.
