Overview
Geriatric pets have a higher risk of complications compared with younger animals. The risk of complications can be minimised, providing age-related changes in physiology and underlying disease processes are understood. There is no “ideal” anaesthetic or analgesic plan for all geriatric animals. This webinar will highlight the physiological pitfalls of geriatrics and offer solutions for the safe approach to geriatric anaesthesia.
