In The Role of Veterinary Nurses in Streamlining Urgent Care, we will highlight how veterinary nurses are essential in enhancing the efficiency of urgent care. Focusing on key nursing tasks within common urgent veterinary consults and how to get the team involved. We’ll cover procedures such as inducing emesis for foreign bodies and toxins, managing wounds, treating cats with pain or difficulty urinating, addressing rabbit stasis, and sample preparation for skin and ear disease. We will demonstrate how veterinary nurses’ expertise in initial assessment can significantly improve efficiency of the practice and lead to improved patient outcomes.
