- Biography
Dr Lisa Walter is an equine veterinarian with a strong interest in combining integrative and conventional sports medicine approaches for the treatment and management of a wide range of equine musculoskeletal and performance conditions. She completed her acupuncture training with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) and incorporates acupuncture in her daily practice.
Lisa has been involved in several university biomechanics research projects over the years and has published works on shinsoreness in racehorses, and sacroiliac dysfunction.
Lisa currently works in ambulatory equine practice seeing performance horses. She enjoys sharing practical acupuncture approaches that can be readily applied to everyday equine practice.
