    Biography

Graduated UQ 1993 with Hons A degree, then spent the next 22 years working in private practice in Cloncurry, NW Qld where I worked in, managed and eventually purchased the only practice in town. Physically covering an area of about 300km radius from Cloncurry, working with large and small animals of all descriptions and heavily involved with the local racing industry attending numerous race meetings around the district. 2015 after selling the practice moved to Wallumbilla outside Roma with my family and for a few years worked in private industry as a nutritionist for a stock feed company.
October 2022 started work with the DAF as an operational field veterinarian based out of Roma, where the work is very varied but still keeps me in contact with a lot of producers and out in the field doing workshops, disease investigations and as much as possible liaising with vets in private practice to offer support where possible.
