13 May, 2026 @ 7:00 pm - 13 May, 2027 @ 8:00 pm AEST

What if the frustration and energetic languishing you are experiencing is a result of boreout rather than being burnt out? What do you need to get ‘unstuck’ and prepare for the professional pivot you desire?
Sustainable professional satisfaction is not accidental—it is created through intentional design. This interactive session facilitated by Dr. Sonja A Olson introduces veterinary professionals to the practice of job crafting as a proactive pathway to avoid “bore-out” and reignite meaning, engagement, and growth in their work. Participants will explore why boredom and stagnation emerge, how autonomy–purpose–mastery fuel satisfaction, and the evidence-based behaviors that increase motivation, well-being, and person–job fit.
By the end of the hour, participants will leave with practical, immediately applicable tools to redesign aspects of their current job—and sustainably craft a more energizing professional path.
