On-Demand VBG and THRIVE Webinar | Inclusive Design and Accessibility in Vet Clinics: Simple Changes, Big Impact
17 June, 2025 @ 8:00 pm - 17 June, 2026 @ 9:00 pm AEST
Free
Veterinary clinics serve a diverse population — yet many of our workplaces and client spaces remain inaccessible by design.
This webinar explores the business case for accessibility, grounded in data and lived experience. With 1 in 4 clients living with disability or neurodivergence — often invisible — we’re missing critical opportunities for connection, care, and retention.
You’ll learn:
• The demographics of disability and neurodiversity in veterinary spaces — and what we’re getting wrong.
• The power of the “Solve for One, Solve for All” principle — how accessible features often help everyone.
• Practical examples of inclusive design: from websites and booking systems to sensory-friendly clinic layouts, adjustable workstations, and low-cost fixes with big impact.
• How inclusive design can support staff retention, client trust, and long-term sustainability.
Too often, veterinary clinic design ignores accessibility — not because it’s hard, but because it’s not yet expected. Let’s change that.
Whether you’re redesigning your clinic, building from scratch, or simply want to do better, this webinar will equip you with tools and insights to make accessibility part of your everyday practice.
This session also spotlights a hidden truth: 38% of vets in Australia live with disability, chronic illness or neurodivergence. Inclusive design isn’t just about clients — it’s about creating veterinary workplaces that retain and empower our people.
Join us to reimagine accessibility — not as an add-on, but as a mindset that future-proofs your practice and strengthens your community.
