FNQ/CQ/NQ Combined Conference 2024

The annual FNQ/CQ/NQ AVA conference took place at the scenic Lake Tinaroo of the Atherton Tablelands. Despite the heavy rain we’ve been experiencing on the Tablelands, we were fortunate to enjoy a break in the clouds and a beautiful, sunny weekend.

The conference featured a range of presentations, including topics on small animal surgery, equine castration, bovine caesarean sections, and more. Experts shared valuable tips and insights that were greatly appreciated by all attendees.

It was a pleasure to see a diverse group of colleagues, from recent graduates to seasoned mixed practice vets, both local to the Tablelands and from across Northern Queensland. We even had Veterinarians travel from all corners of Australia to attend!

Following a well-deserved glass of wine or two on Saturday night, the networking opportunities were exceptional. Not only did we gain a wealth of knowledge, but we also enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere, excellent food, and the company of wonderful people.
