AVA lodges submission on Racing QLD veterinary permit proposal

The Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) has lodged a formal submission to Racing Queensland (RQ) expressing strong opposition to the proposed veterinary permit system under Australian Rules of Racing AR 2 and new rule AR 104B. Victorian Domestic Animal Regulations – Regulatory Impact Statement

DEECA has engaged Sapere to develop a Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) to remake the Domestic Animal Regulations 2015 (the Regulations) which are due to sunset in November 2025. As part of this process, they would like to collect information about how the Regulations are performing, the costs to your organisation in fulfilling your obligations regarding microchipping and other parts of the Regulations.
