Member feedback is requested on the NSW Inquiry onto the operation of the approved charitable organisations under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

A vacancy has become available on the ACT Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (AWAC) for a person nominated by the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA).

NSW members are encouraged to make a submission by 22 December 2023.

AVA members are invited to provide comment by 18 December 2023, to inform the AVA submission.

The plan sets out actions to reduce the impacts of unmanaged goats on the environment, agriculture and communities.

Animal Welfare Victoria is looking to understand how we may strengthen or improve these regulations prior to new regulations being made. We are seeking your views on what is working well, what may require reform, and where there are opportunities for improvement and modernisation.
