EOI for AVA representative on TAFE NSW Industry Collaboration Reference Group (ICRG) for the Animal Care & Management Sector
05 Feb 2024TAFE NSW is seeking a representative from the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) to participate in the Industry Collaboration Reference Group (ICRG) for the Animal Care & Management sector.
The ICRG’s have been established to inform TAFE NSW on future industry skills and training priorities, the impact of training products delivered and the industry skills training requirements. The ICRG Charter is available here.
The ICRG role and responsibilities are to provide:
- Advice on industry workforce development requirements and training priorities
- Advice on existing and planned industry investments and initiatives including innovative learning and development models
- Advice and feedback on TAFE NSW training products
- Advice on industry preferences for product quality, design and delivery practices
- Information on industry collaboration opportunities to enhance VET /TAFE NSW perception in the market, influence policy setting and seek funding
- Feed industry intelligence to other groups within TAFE NSW as required
The ICRG for the Animal Care & Management sector will meet twice a year virtually for approximately 1.5 hours. Temporary sub-groups might be formed from the ICRG to focus on specific topics if required.
