The AVA has released its 2024 Queensland State Election Platform. Key issues are: Enhanced biosecurity and funding for emergency animal disease; Rural and regional veterinary workforce support ; Support for veterinary students; Support the provision of public good by veterinarians ; Mental health support for veterinary professionals
AVA ACT Election Priorities 2024
Ahead of this ACT Election, the AVA is calling on the next Territory Government to support and/or address the following key areas: Sustainability of the veterinary workforce; Mental health support for the veterinary profession; Support for veterinary care for persons experiencing vulnerabilities; Increased support for ACT government veterinarians; Support for veterinary public good activities.
