AVAWE webinar | Dingoes, ethics and coexistence in modern Australia | Dr Bradley Smith
July 29 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm AEST
Free - $50.00
Dingoes occupy a controversial place in Australia’s landscapes and culture. This webinar examines what dingoes are, how they differ from domestic dogs, their ecological role, and the ethical challenges surrounding lethal control and conflict management. It also explores debates on hybridisation, dingo taxonomy, and the consequences of current policy, arguing that coexistence and adaptive, non-lethal approaches offer a more effective and humane path forward.
