Cattle accreditation programs

Exclusively available to ALL ACCESS Australian Cattle Veterinarians (ACV)  SIG members – Veterinarian only

The ACV suite of accreditation programs puts evidence-based clinical and farm management tools in the hands of Australian cattle veterinarians and their clients. Available to ACV member veterinarians, each program is nationally recognised and built to support best practice across fertility, reproduction, welfare and biosecurity.
  • BULLCHECK™ The Australian standard for bull breeding soundness evaluation. Accredited veterinarians assess five core fertility components — from physical examination and semen analysis to serving capacity — delivering objective, certified results through the standardised Bull Reporter format.
  • PREGCHECK™ A nationally recognised pregnancy testing accreditation program. Accredited vets record crush-side results via a digital dashboard linked to each animal’s NLIS tag, with certificates verifiable at pregcheck.com.au. Supports foetal ageing, identification of reproductive abnormalities and AuctionsPlus certification.
  • WELFARECHECK™ A veterinarian-led tool for developing farm-specific animal welfare plans aligned with LPA requirements. A planning resource, not an audit — no pass or fail, no conflict of interest.
  • BIOCHECK™ A structured biosecurity planning program aligned with LPA and Johne’s disease accreditation requirements. Farm-specific plans can be completed in as little as seven minutes, giving producers documented evidence of biosecurity risk management.

Accredited Veterinary Hospital Scheme (AVHS)

Exclusively available to ALL ACCESS Australian Small Animal Veterinarians (ASAV) SIG members

The Australian Small Animal Veterinarians (ASAV) Accredited Veterinary Hospital Scheme (AVHS) recognises companion animal practices that achieve the highest standards of clinical care, practice management and hospital infrastructure.

More than a certificate on the wall, ASAV accreditation sets a benchmark for the profession and signals to clients that they are walking into a practice that takes excellence seriously.

  • Recognition that means something Accredited hospitals receive a display plaque, logo for use on stationery and digital assets, and a feature in Companion magazine — giving your practice visibility across the ASAV member community.
  • A benchmark for the profession ASAV accredited hospitals inspire other small animal practitioners to assess and elevate their own facilities and standards, raising the bar for companion animal care across Australia.
  • A boost for your team Many ASAV accredited practices report measurable improvements in staff morale — because recognition of the standards your team helps achieve every day matters.
