
Course summary
This course provides opportunities to identify, reflect critically and apply the personal and professional skills required to maintain individual wellbeing and positive engagement with others within a veterinary workplace. It provides advanced training in the personal and workplace determinants of wellbeing, and explores strategies to improve wellbeing, culminating in the development of a personal well-being plan.
Learning outcomes
- Identify the key factors that positively impact personal and workplace wellbeing and apply these in veterinary practice using an evidence-based approach.
- Recognise and understand specific veterinary industry wellbeing and mental health challenges, and identify practical strategies to mitigate these in veterinary workplaces.
- Apply the knowledge gained to design a personal wellbeing plan addressing your wellbeing goals.
