If you’ve applied to present a Research or Clinical Paper and your abstract wasn’t accepted this year, a poster presentation is a fantastic alternative.
The Clinical Posters session offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your research or clinical work, gain recognition, and enhance your professional profile. Plus, there are three prestigious poster prizes available, each including a $500 cash award.
EVA Research Poster Prize
- Open to all EVA current financial members.
- EVA defines Research Posters as those with work requiring Animal Ethics Approval, or those reporting major retrospective studies.

EVA Clinical Case-Based Poster Prize
- Open to all EVA current financial members.
- Prize:

EVA Young Members Group Poster or Abstract Prize
- Open to EVA Young Members and Student members.

Your poster can address any topic within equine veterinary science. It must be the original work of the veterinarian and may present research findings, a clinical case report, or a case series. Please note that prizes vary depending on the category your poster qualifies for.
The content should include innovative insights or contribute to advancing knowledge in the equine veterinary profession. At least one author must attend the poster judging session to meet the panel on Monday, 20 July 2026, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm AEST at the Bain Fallon Memorial Lectures, Pullman Melbourne Albert Park Hotel.
Size and printing:
Poster size can be of the following paper size and dimensions:
‘B0’: 1,000mm (W) x 1,414mm (H) OR
‘A0’ 841mm (W) x 1189mm (H).
Printed on strong, high quality paper.
Submission
An intention to submit must be lodged by Monday 6 July 2026, 5:00pm AEST using the Clinical Posters Submission Form below. The submission should include details such as poster title, list of authors, and a digital A4 copy of the poster (in PDF file format).
A physical copy of the poster must be delivered to the Conference Secretariat at the Bain Fallon Memorial Lectures event office by Sunday 19 July 2026 at 4:00pm AEST. The presenting poster must be stored in a poster tube clearly labelled with the following details:
- Title of poster
- Name of author(s)
- The author attending on-site poster judging session’s
- Full name
- Mobile number
