The Royal Canin Certificate in Advanced Small Animal Nutrition (CASAN) is a free, online, university-level course designed to close critical gaps in veterinary nutrition education worldwide.
Hosted on the Royal Canin Academy and delivered by Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist© Dr Nick Cave, the program blends interactive video tutorials, gamified scenarios, and self-guided modules.
Designed to be product-agnostic, CASAN starts from foundational nutritional principles and perinatal care to disease-specific dietary management – empowering veterinarians and veterinary nurses to make confident, evidence-based recommendations.
