On-Demand VERA Webinar | Use of systems thinking in healthcare and applications to veterinary science | Dr Erika Meler
11 December, 2025 @ 8:00 pm - 11 December, 2026 @ 9:00 pm AEDT
Free - $50.00
Systems thinking is an approach that views healthcare as an interconnected network of people, processes and resources in which each component influences another. In human healthcare, systems thinking has been instrumental in optimizing workflows, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration and designing more resilient and adaptive health systems. While many of the challenges are similar in veterinary medicine, the use of systems thinking is much less prominent. In this talk, I will present the state of the field in human healthcare and talk about the opportunities systems thinking might open for veterinarians.
