- Dr David Ahern
- Biography
David graduated from the University of Queensland with first class honours and was awarded the national Don Kerr Award. After graduation he worked in Victoria within the Dairy sector for 18 months. He subsequently transferred much of his attention to the horse industry around Shepparton, and after gaining valuable experience returned to Beaudesert in Queensland, where he was born and raised. David was employed for several years within a prominent equine stud practice. He later moved to Roma to work in the state’s west for a period before returning to Beaudesert to start his own practice. This practice grew remarkably quickly, servicing individual clients as well as some of the state’s most successful stud and training enterprises. The practice took on the current company title in 2008 and built a more comprehensive surgical and breeding facility.
