Join Tim for an informative update on some of the key infectious diseases affecting Australian reptiles. The webinar will explore recent developments and current knowledge surrounding nidoviruses (serpentoviruses), Mycoplasma, onygenalean fungi including Nannizziopsis spp, sunshinevirus, bornavirus and adenoviruses.

Tim will discuss the significance of these pathogens in Australian reptile populations, including emerging findings, clinical considerations and the latest insights into their detection and management.

    Dr Tim Hyndman
    Biography

    Tim Hyndman graduated from the Murdoch University veterinary school and after spending time in private practice returned to university for a PhD in reptile virology. He is a member and past examiner of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in the Veterinary Pharmacology Chapter, and has taught the subject for many years. He has a strong interest in exotic animals.
