ACV Webinar | Nutrition 101: Basic on farm practical skills for ruminant veterinarians who want to have more confidence delivering nutritional advice | Dr Kat Martin
17 November, 2026 @ 8:00 pm - 17 November, 2027 @ 9:00 pm AEDT

As cattle veterinarians, nutrition forms the backbone of many of the diseases and production issues we routinely encounter on farm. It also presents a valuable opportunity for greater farm engagement, preventative medicine, and disease management. Yet, nutrition can be an area that many of us find daunting to confidently enter into conversation about. Ruminant Nutrition 101 focuses on practical, on-farm skills for veterinarians, providing a foundation in nutrition and common nutritional presentations seen in the field. The aim is to give ruminant veterinarians greater confidence to assess, discuss, and provide practical nutritional advice as part of everyday veterinary practice.
