The Equine Veterinarians Australia group of the AVA has provided feedback for the review of the NSW Thoroughbred Racing Act. The submission includes references to AVA Polices and makes comment on:
- Independent veterinarians on the Racing NSW Board and Racing Industry Consultation Group
- Independent expert post-mortem facility and pathology expertise
- Subsidy program for advance imaging
- Use of sedatives during training
