The Australian Reproduction Veterinarians (ARV) provide a link between members and government bodies, breed societies and the artificial breeding industry.
The ARV has established performance standards and guidelines for member and non-member veterinarians that recognise the specialised procedures involved in embryo collection, handling, cryopreservation, and transfer. The Australian Reproduction Veterinarians have achieved this by testing all areas of commercial embryo transfer to ensure that the public can be confident when engaging the services of a ARV-certified veterinary surgeon.
