Nominate Now – Help Shape the Future of Our Profession in QLD

Nominations are now open for the Queensland AVA Division Committee – and we encourage you to consider putting your hand up.

Queensland Division President, Dr Regan Lynch, reflects on what being involved has meant to her:

“Being a part of my AVA State Division allows me to actively contribute and help drive the future for our industry – it’s my way of feeling part of a movement to better the profession for those who come after us.”

Serving on the Division Committee is an opportunity to have a real impact on the profession in Queensland. It’s your chance to contribute to advocacy, policy and member initiatives that strengthen and support veterinarians across the state.

Dr Lynch also highlights the personal and professional growth that comes with involvement:

“I have enjoyed the opportunities that being part of my state AVA division provides – it helps to support my growth outside my clinical practice and being surrounded by my peers on this pathway continues to inspire me.”

If you are passionate about the future of veterinary practice in Queensland and want to connect with like-minded colleagues while shaping meaningful change, we encourage you to nominate.

Nominations close Friday 20 February 2026.
