
Legal and ethical foundations for veterinarians (CVP1018 2026 SP3)

This course provides advanced training in the professional handling of veterinary ethical and legal challenges. Frameworks to structure these decisions will be introduced, focusing on common veterinary ethical dilemmas, while being mindful of ethical and legal requirements. Other skills to be explored include the professional handling of errors, complications, and animal welfare issues in clinical practice. The role of veterinarians in societal wellbeing and health will be introduced.
