Thrive events use an integrated wellness framework to underpin the learning deliverables:

Preventing harm from psychosocial hazards in the industry,

Promoting strengths, capabilities and the rewards of work and

Protecting us when we experience stress and are unwell.

In this session this is achieved by:

  • Prevent: Gain a deeper understanding of your top 3 psychosocial hazards and strategies to implement workplace change
  • Promote: Develop frameworks for your workplace to help support team strengths, capabilities, and the rewards of work
  • Protect: Recognise how you can make a difference in your workplace when you feel comfortable to speak up if you feel unwell and need support.

Testimonials

Pilot participant

There was such a good focus on practical identification of hazards and what we can do in our workplace. This is the first time I have walked away from a mental health workshop with ideas of what I can do to improve things

Pilot participant

The session was fantastic, having someone go through all of this specifically through the lens of the veterinary profession meant it was very relatable and relevant discussion on psychosocial factors and their effects.
