For Dr Lentswe Rampa and the team at Eli Waters Animal Clinic in Harvey Bay, the answer came on four wheels.

The veterinary team wanted to extend care beyond the walls of their clinic, particularly for pet owners who found getting their animals to the practice difficult.

In 2024, Eli Waters Animal Clinic was awarded a $10,000 Credabl Helping Hand Grant. The funding helped the team transform a second-hand vehicle into a dedicated pet ambulance.

It was an idea grounded in a very practical problem, but its impact has reached much further.

The vehicle has helped the team support elderly and less-mobile clients, transport animals requiring veterinary care and provide greater support to families navigating difficult moments, including end-of-life care at home.

Eli Waters was one of five healthcare professionals and practices awarded a Helping Hand Grant in 2024, alongside fellow veterinary recipient Southern Cross Vet.

Now, Credabl is looking for the next ideas worth backing.

Helping Hand Grants is back, with five $10,000 cash grants available to eligible doctors, dentists and veterinarians across Australia.
