WA DPIRD is calling for registered WA veterinarians interested in short-term placements with DPIRD across multiple locations, including metropolitan Perth, to register.

Include:
- full contact details (name, email address, phone contacts)
- when you are available and for how long e.g. August to end of September 2026
- any preference of location/region.
The H5birdflu@dpird.wa.gov.au email address may also be used for general veterinary enquiries.
Veterinarians will play a critical role both during this intensive surveillance period when H5 bird flu has not established in WA wildlife, and in the future if H5 bird flu does become established and is unable to be eradicated.
