2026 AVA Conference: Early bird registration closes in 20 days!

With less than 3 weeks left to secure early bird rates, now is the time to register for the 2026 AVA Conference; the premier event for Australian veterinary professionals. Held from 18–21 May 2026 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year’s conference promises to be bigger, better, and more inspiring than ever.

During the early bird period, AVA members can save up to $400 on registration, with discounts also available for non-members, students, new graduates and groups.

The 2026 AVA Conference will feature dedicated program streams catering to every corner of the veterinary profession, including Equine, Dental, Small Animal, Cattle, Behaviour, Health, and Public Health. A special highlight is the Business stream, designed specifically for practice owners, managers, and aspiring leaders. This stream will tackle the real challenges facing veterinary leaders today, from profitability and client expectations to sustainability, team culture, and staff retention. If you lead or want to lead, this is the stream for you.

Each session of the AVA Conference is carefully curated to deliver practical insights and fresh perspectives from thought leaders, industry experts, and fellow veterinarians. Among the keynote speakers is Professor David Hayman, who recently shared his excitement about joining the 2026 event. You can hear more from him,  here.

With social events, leading-edge research, and hands-on workshops, the 2026 AVA Conference is the ultimate opportunity to connect, learn, and recharge with peers from across the country.
