Our members are now very aware that the ACV List is transitioning to a new platform hosted by Circle – bringing with it all the functionality you’re familiar with, plus a range of new features to enhance how we connect and communicate. If you are used to Facebook or similar, Circle won’t be hard to navigate at all.
Before looking ahead, it’s important to acknowledge the past. We extend our sincere thanks to David Beggs, who established the ListServ over two decades ago. It has supported countless conversations, collaborations, and shared learning across our community, and its impact has been significant. Thanks Beggsy and everyone who has participated in making the ListServ such a valuable tool.
The new Circle platform is now live and already generating strong engagement.
It is important to acknowledge we aren’t removing the ListServ, just giving it new life. Circle offers everything the ListServ does – and more – including the convenience of having all SIG spaces in one central location. Importantly, this is an evolution rather than a removal: the ListServ experience continues, just within a more modern and flexible environment – and the good news is, you can turn on email alerts if you wish or you can access server via an App or your desktop browser.

There is also a dedicated cattle vet-only space for clinical discussions, ensuring appropriate privacy where needed.
